Northwest Ag Show presents a Roundtable Discussion with Oregon Legislators

Don't miss the first-ever legislative roundtable discussion at the N.W. Ag Show. The focus of this discussion is "Challenges and Solutions". It's an opportunity for members of the Ag community to share their challenges and the solution(s) they recommend in overcoming these challenges. Comments will be limited to 3 minutes each so plenty of people can share their stories and ideas. A panel of legislators has volunteered to listen to these stories including fellow Ag professional, Senator Chuck Thomsen from Hood River, Representative Brian Clem, Representative Bill Kennemer and others. Senator Thomsen, sits on the Senate Environment & Natural Resource Committee; Representative Clem is Co-Chair of the House Ag and Natural Resources Committee; and Representative Kennemer serves as Co-Chair of the House Business and Labor Committee. The format will first invite comments from members of the Ag community for an hour and a half and then the last half hour will be reserved for comments from the panel. Sign-up sheets will be available 30 minutes prior to the discussion. First come, first serve.
