Contest Information:

• The show dates for 2008 are Tuesday, January 29 through Thursday, January 31 with move-in on Monday, January 28.

• The contest judging will be held on Tuesday, January 29. The judges will be industry employers, fabricators and equipment specialists. The judging criteria used in state FFA competitions will be used. Photos and information showing the progression of the project are recommended, especially in restoration projects.
• The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 30th at 5:00 pm. We will notify the winning chapters prior to the awards ceremony so they may know to attend.
• Any project completed between February 1, 2007 and January 28, 2008 is eligible for entry. A school may enter more than one project however a registration form is required for each entry. There is no limit to the number of students that can work on a project.
• Prize money will be awarded to both first and second place winners in both categories.

More Important Stuff

• There will be no admittance charge for FFA Chapters. We encourage you to bring your students and use our show as a learning tool. We also encourage you to bring an assignment for the students to complete and to have as many students in official dress as possible.
• Is transportation cost keeping your chapter at home? Thanks to MassMutual/Oregon Financial Services, Halton Co., and Umpqua Bank, we are now able to offer FFA Travel Scholarships to applying chapters. We will be awarding scholarships up to $300 to the first 11 chapters that apply. The money can be used toward the cost of transportation and substitute teachers.
